SIMRIG SR1 Sim Racing Motion System

Look no further than the Simrig SR1. This 3DOF system will bring a whole new level of realism to your simulator racing experience whether it be rally, GT or formula you are into!

The SIMRIG SR1 is developed for maximum immersion and ease of use. With it's small footprint it mounts to your existing aluminium extrusion rig. The electronics control unit is small enough to mount under your seat. It connects directly to your computer through USB. The power supply operates on 100-240 V mains.

The system features three degrees of freedom (3-DOF): pitch, roll, and heave. With pitch and roll the system can simulate acceleration, braking, and turning. It can also follow the track geometry; for example by pitching forwards while driving downhill. With heave the system can push the rig upwards when hitting curbs and bumps in the road.

The SIMRIG SR1 is accompanied by SIMRIG Control Center. This software control the motion system by interpreting the position and acceleration of the simulated vehicle. It supports all major simulation titles.

Mounting Options

SIMRIG SR1 is compatible with aluminum rigs built using 60x20, 40x40, and 80x40 mm aluminum extrusions. Other sizes are available on request.

Four 20x20 mm aluminum profiles and four plastic brackets are required to attach SIMRIG SR1 to an aluminum rig. These are included when your order a system.

The four 20x20 mm aluminum profiles are mounted in pairs. Two at the front of the rig and two at the back. Each pair holds two SIMRIG SR1 actuators. See documentation for more details.

The plastic brackets are specifically designed to attach to either 60x20, 40x40, or 80x40 mm aluminum profiles. These profiles differ in height and therefore require a matching bracket. Please specify which rig you intend to use while ordering.

Power Supply

The power supply operates around the world. It works with 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz.

Maximum Load

For best performance, longevity, and user experience, the maximum load is set to 175 kg. The maximum load includes the SIMRIG SR1 motion system, the rig, the driver, other peripherals, and additional weight actuated by the SIMRIG SR1 motion system.

When the SIMRIG SR1 is attached to a lightweight rig, such as the SRD-MOTUS ULTIMATE (it only weighs 21 kg) there is about 154 kg left for driver, seat, and peripherals.

Noise

The sound-level of the SIMRIG SR1 is motion system is very low. A large rubber pad is attached to the bottom of each actuator. This keeps the system stationary and absorbs vibrations. Furthermore, the power supply is fan-less.
